Options for Posting Job Opportunities
Employers have a variety of options for publicizing job openings in the Yakima Valley. In most cases there is a charge to advertise jobs whether it is on the radio, in the local newspapers, or on the internet.
If you are on a tight budget you may want to tap into a couple no cost options for publicizing jobs. Employers can contact local WorkSource offices or visit the WorkSource website to post jobs. You can also post job openings on Craigslist. The links for these sites are listed below.
Also consider posting job openings to your company website. Many businesses find that this is an economical way to promote their employment opportunities.

Getting your job fed to Twitter and Facebook As you may have noticed our “Job and Career Exchange” website features a Twitter feed and we also have a Facebook page. The Twitter feed works when you register the website where you have posted your job on www.indeed.com or www.simplyhired.com (does not work for jobs posted on Craiglist). Once you register with these websites our Twitter plug-in will capture these new jobs and feed them to the Twitter section on this website. It will also simultaneously feed these new job opportunities to our Facebook page as well. |
